To move the APSIPA ASC 2014 to Siem Reap, city of Angkor Wat, Cambodia
Due to the recent political situation in Thailand, people have concern in holding APSIPA ASC 2014 in Thailand. Although the situation between Chiang Mai and Bangkok could be different, APSIPA ASC 2014 participants may be worried on travelling and stay in Chaingmai, Thailand during the conference. Based on this reason, the Conference Organization Committee have seriously discussed, and decided to move the venue of APSIPA ASC 2014 from Chiang-Mai in Thailand to Siem Reap, city of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. The conference date is still same on Dec 9-12, 2014, but the paper submission deadline is extended to July 4, 2014. Siem Reap, city of Angkor Wat is one of the most attractive historic cities of South East Asia visited by many foreign tourists, and may ensure all participants the safety and joyfulness when they attend the conference. We hope the new venue might encourage students, researchers, and professors to submit many papers and participate the APSIPA ASC 2014.
